Welcome to Parkpoint!
This is your site to explore and compare different themeparks in Europe. At this moment we don't have many parks in our database. But we will expand it very soon.
How does Parkpoint work?
First of all you have to choose your park that intrests you. Click on the button 'Parks' and choose your park. After that you will see a list with attractions, the prices, the location and the opening times. The number near each park is the amount of rides in the park. But we also added an entry with general information about prices, opening times and the location of the park. So it is always the number - 1 for the amount of rides. For example: Phantasialand has 42 entry, -1 for the general information makes it has 41 rides in the park.
Our attraction and park rating exists about below items.
- Popularity Park
This shows you how populair the park is, when it is almost all the time full it will be a very populair park. But it could be that the park isn't populair by the normal people. that doesn't mean that the park is bad, some parks are new and have great attractions. It shows more how crowded the park could be.

- Popularity Attraction
Every attraction have his own popularity rating. Ofcourse the most coasters are more populair than flatrides. When a attraction is populair you could say that it is a 'must do' in the park.

- Waiting Times
This shows the average waiting time. We also say if it is good enough to wait this time for the attraction. Don't forget that some attractions have a monster capacity, a avarage short waiting line doesn't mean that the attraction is bad!
- Theming attraction
Here we will rate the theming of the attraction. Not every attraction is themed, but we look also at the plants and landscaping. Theming is a very important thing by a attraction, it will take you into a great story.

- Riding Time
This shows the time how long you will sit in the attraction. Notice that some attractions are interactive or have different modes that it could be longer or shorter.
- Disordering of attraction
This shows if the attraction you see will have a lot of disordering or not. When it is high you will see 0 yellow stars, you could better do this attraction with a short waiting line, or at the end of the day. It will cost you a lot of time when you've waited an hour and the attraction gets closed for disordering.
When the attractions works always, or most of the time, you will see more yellow stars, it isn't a problem to visit this attraction.

Star-System
Park Point has a star system. You can't vote what rate it is, because we don't want false ratings. The history on other sites learned us that a attraction or park has a good rating when it is close to you, and got a bad rating when it is far away, because people won't vote if they don't know it.
Only the crew of this site can give a rating, that rating is most of the time the reality, it is possible that you like it more or less, but we vote for the normal people. All our ratings are based on the opinions from people that doesn't come in a park every month.
Beside this, you can rate the articles about an attraction, a 5-star rating. This is to see what the other people think about it. We could change our ratings on base of your ratings.
the star system is an image with stars, 10 in total.
0 stars means that we don't know the rating, or that is is closed for public.
1 star means that it is very bad.
2 stars are better than very bad, but it's still not very good.
3 stars mean that it is not a 'must do' attraction, but you can do it always when you're bored.
4 stars mean that it is almost the middle of good attraction. You should do this attraction when you've got some extra time.
5 stars is a nice attraction, you should not wait to long for it.
6 stars is for a good attraction
7 stars means that the attraction is very good, it is a must do.
8 stars means that this attraction is excellent, this is a must do.
9 stars means that you get a 'Wow' feeling after riding this attraction, but after the second or third time the wow feeling is away, but it is still a nice attraction, a must do!
10 stars means that this attraction is super-awesome, everytime you get a 'Wow' feeling, this is the-must-do you won't see this rating very much.
