Walibi Holland
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Aztec was a huss rainbow ride. It was located on the place where now Aqua Gusto is. The ride was built in 2000. When the park changed to Six flags holland. It was technically seen located in the speedzone but it had the mexico theme. In 2008 a huss rainbow in liseberg had an accident. At that moment all 40 huss rainbows were closed for investigation. After a few months they checked all rides, and they were safe again. Walibi did not want to take a risk, and deleted the ride out their park.
The ride was still in storage to season 2016, so it was possible that the ride would come back. However, they sold it to an other park finally. The ride was one of the better themed rides of the park, and with its bright colors it had a very pretty look in the summer. The ride was going from left, to right, and up and down. The speed during the ride would give you some airtime, the feelings are the same as by a trip ride, but then bigger.
Did you know:
Aztec was the last flatride to be deleted? All other flatrides have been deleted and removed to other walibi parks to make this one more family friendly. Aztec has been deleted for a safety issue, and is still in storage by the park. It is possible to make a come back if they want. Possible before 2020 it will come back in a new theme and after a good technical inspection.
