Ballonkanon was a simple water-balloon ride where you could buy some water balloons to hold a water party. It was built in a period when these rides were pretty popular in themeparks. However, since visitors need to pay extra for a ride, they can do cheaper and longer at home, it was mostly not very well visited. That fact + the few sunny days in The Netherlands made it that the ride was pretty fast closed.
The outside of the ride and waiting line were slightly themed to the pirate zone. In the middle was a simple fountain and there were a few wooden arch-houses where you could fire off your water balloons to other people in the area. When you hit an other house, the one underneath it would get soaked.

- Theming attraction
The attraction was not really themed. but there was a small pirate theme on the outside, and was built on a good wat making it not ugly.

The riding time was as long as you wanted, when your balloons were up you had nothing to do on the ride. Mostly you would ride it about 5 minutes, when you took your time.
