Bobbejaanland
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Bobbydrop was a unique raft ride in Bobbejaanland, that however didn't last very long. It opened in may 1999, and was built by the dutch waterslide builder ''Van Egdom'' The ride had a nice entrance, 3 brightly colored scandinavian houses. The ride was innovative when it was built, and the park even won a price with it.
The ride brought the passengers up to 13 metres with a lift. Then the rafts would take a U-turn to the left, and a helix to the right before the big drop came. After the big drop the raft would slow down on the water, to make a short turn back to the station. The ride was very popular in the park... but already 9 years later... this became the problem of the ride. Too much popularity, too long waiting times... Bobbejaanland decided to remove the ride. And never ever placed something back for that. Good enough the ride is replaced in a french park.

Did you know:
That basically the lift, and the water after the drop made the cappacity of the ride so low? It was done to get less disordering of the ride, but the results were huge waiting lines... Oops?
- Popularity Attraction
This attraction was extremely popular, even when it was not crowded in the park you could find waiting lines here.
- Waiting Times
The waiting times were very variable on easy days it was pretty fast 15 minutes, up to 40 minutes on crowded days, way too long for a simple short slide.
- Theming attraction
This attraction was not very well themed, but the entrance had nice scandinavian houses, and the station had some nice flowers. Also the simplicity of the ride had somehow a feeling that fitted into the area.
- Riding Time
The riding time was about 2 minutes, 30 seconds on the lift, 30 seconds drop, 1 minutes getting back to the station.
- Disordering of attraction
This attraction was almost every day open.
''Such a slow ride, and so popular, this unique ride didn't last long in this park''
