Double invertor was a special invertor ride. It had 2 sides with a total cappacity of 48 riders per ride. It was opened in 2000 and closed in 2004. They moved the ride from Walibi Holland to Walibi Rhône-Alpes. It is a spectacular ride with amazing thrill factor. Since this type of ride was very sensitive for failures, and was hard to control Walibi decided to remove the ride to an other park.
When the ride was sold to Walibi Rhône-Alpes it was not yet in the same park group. After 2005 the parks were in the same group. Since they trade the rides sometimes there is a change that the ride will ever come back to the Netherlands. How ever we don't think so since the much problems of the ride. It's now on a good place.
