Loriebaan. One of the removed rides of Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. We've just found 2 pictures of it and we still don't know anything about this ride. Or do we? To start, we found the ride by accident on a post-card. (The black-white picture) It had the words ''Loriebaan'' on it. Lorie is an old word for parrot in Dutch so it's clear that the ride had something to do with parrots, and the word ''baan'' means track. As seen on the picture it were cars riding over a track.
After a little research we found a second picture, the colored one. Here we see a red and a yellow car, the yellow one containing the name Carac... Which could be Caracal (but that's a cat?) Or Caracara (a bird... but not a Lorie/parrot thing) We suppose that bird names were on the cars. When we looked at the pictures we see that the layout is almost identical to the actual old timer ride. This tells us that after deleting this ride the oldtimer ride had been built on the exact same spot, with the same layout.

Did you know:
That how much you search for this ride, there is not even one website that says the name Loribaan. So we've only got the pictures, and we knew it was there but the ride is one big mysterie. Even the park itself doesn't say anything about it.
- Popularity Attraction
This attraction looked popular at the pictures.
- Waiting Times
The waiting times were probably between 5 and 10 minutes.
- Theming attraction
The attraction was simply located at the grass with some nice plants. The vehicles were themed to some kind of car in different colors. There was a text on the car, and near the track were some traffic signs. This makes the theme a little strange in combination with the name,
- Riding Time
The riding time was probably about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Disordering of attraction
This attraction was always open for so far we know, this kind of rides never have problems.
