    Notenkraker
    Avonturenpark Hellendoorn

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________

This polyp ride opened in 1987 and closed in 1993. It was sold to an other park to make room for a new ride: Montezuma's Revenge. Notenkraker was a strange name for this type of ride. Since most of the polyps are just called polyp or something to do with a giant octopus. But Notenkraker is dutch for ''nutcracker''

Notenkraker was located near the jungle river and was painted black with orange cars. The ride was surrounded by some nice flowers and white fences. On top of the ride is a giant nut with a man inside it. The ride was on a flat grassy area located, next to the former roundr up ride: Jungle Rock.

     Did you know:
That the ride was already pretty old, and had some problems during the seasons? Many times one or 2 arms were closed off with cloths because of safety problems with the restraints.

    - Popularity Attraction
This attraction was pretty popular, but because of the high costs, and the need for more thrill it has been replaced by a topspin.

    - Waiting Times
The waiting times were 5 to 10 minutes.

    - Theming attraction
The attraction was themed with a giant nut, and painted well. However, the area around it was cheap with just some grass, white fences and flowers. On the background you can clearly see the building of an indoor coaster. Could have been better with some bushes!

    - Riding Time
The riding time was about 3 minutes.

    - Disordering of attraction
This attraction was most of the time open, but not always 100% capacity. One or 2 arms were mostly closed. So still an 8.
