De Efteling
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Rolschaatsbaan was one of the first ride in De Efteling, and also the first one to be removed. It was operating from 1957 to 1966. Later Diorama was build on it's location. There were plans to build a new fairytale inside this building. The fairytale De Waterlelies would be build in this building. But plans changed, and they built that fairytale actually in the fairytale forest, where it is still on the same place now.
It was one of the few total indoor rides, Only the steam carrousel was the only other total indoor ride. All the other rides were outdoor, or had a small roof with still a change to get very wet during rainstorms. Also all the fairytales were outdoor. It was an important ride in the beginning stage of the park. However, nowadays you can't imagine that a rollerskater track would be such a popular ride in a themepark.

- Popularity Attraction
The ride was popular, but it is unknown why the ride has been removed from the park. Probably because the popularity getting lower, or future plans.
- Waiting Times
There were no waiting times for this attraction.
- Theming attraction
The ride seems to be badly themed. Probably some colors and simple decorations was everything this ride had.
- Riding Time
You chose your own riding time, but we think that 10 to 30 minutes was enough to get enough fun of this ride.
- Disordering of attraction
This attraction was always open.
