This is not a real attraction, but a themed area with a lot of houses do discover things, and playful objects. Inside this area is one attraction, That is the ''slakken monorail'' see the entry ''slakken monorail'' for more information. There is a story about the laven. they lived on the north pole, when it was warm there. They lived there many years peacefull. But then it began to snow and it did get very cold. The laven started digging, to get it warm. The grand laaf died, and they built a statue of him, because a laaf will never die. After million years of digging, they ended up in the efteling where they built their new village.

And you can visit their village. there are a lot of houses to discover. there are slides, water stepstones. and many secrets. By opening there was a store where you could buy some drinks, but that is now closed. Good enough the parents could photograph their children here very good. So it won't be boring for anyone. We can give you a tip that, with the many houses it is a good idea to do this with rainy wether. All attractions inside a building will be overcrowded. But this not. While you can stay very good dry.

This attraction seems to be popular by kids. But the area is never overcrowded. The area is big enough to get everyone in.
Some houses are more popular than others. The slide house and the flying house are the most populair. While the tower, and the baby house is less populair.

There are no waiting times for this attraction. Just walk in the area and enjoy!

- Theming attraction
The whole area is only theming, theming and theming. It is what it should be. Everywhere details. This is one of the less times we give a 10 for theming. Beside that, they are very slowly to repair items in this village. That is not so good... we hope that it will be better next years.


- Riding Time
The riding time is as long as you want. You can see everything in 20 minutes. Exclusive the monorail.

This attraction is never closed. For maintenace or disordering it will be always a small part of the village. There is always something you can see.
