Put on your skates, and step on the ice! It's time for ice skating, and sliding all around because you can't stand right up. It's totally indoor, with some nice music, lights, themed with snowy trees and a real apreski house for food. Since the 2013 season there are even more foodstands to buy food.

When you just want to sit, take a place by a gas-lamp, it's warm under it. For the little children there are some games, a souvenir shop, an iceskating rink, inflatables and a snow ramp to slide off. Just relax. Some people are done in 30 minutes, others can stay here for hours.

The ride is most of the years the same, with just slightly changes in the way the terraces are built. Sometimes there will be added some new things for the kids, or the ice skating rink has been changed. But these changers are so small that most of the visitors won't even see it.

 Did you know:
That during the 2014-2015 winter efteling season the roof of this ride partly collapsed because of the very heavy snow? The ride was closed for at least 2 days! Immediatly the day after the snowfall they repaired the roof, and rebuilt a part of the tent. A sad disco-globe was still visible on the roof while the ride was totally closed. After repairing nothing was damaged inside the tent. Nobody was hurt.

- Theming attraction
This attraction has as theme, we think you can guess it, ICE!
Snowflakes, snowy trees, and a wooden house with food makes it a cool place. Since the 2013 season the ice skating rink has been built for a part outside, and the former ride ''Kinder winter wonderland'' has been integrated into the IJspaleis. So both themes are now mixed into one nice tent. We still think it can be better. but the star rating rises from 5 to 6 stars! well done.


- Riding Time
There is no riding time here, you choose your own time to stay. The snowramp is about 10 seconds to slide off.

- Disordering of attraction
This attraction is never closed for disordering, it is only open in the winter.
The only disordering that this attraction could have is not enough power to hold the ice frozen.
