Appelcarrousel is a small carrousel with an apple for little children. Appel is dutch for apple so the name is still quite easy. The park describes it as a little rollercoaster for babies. But it is not a true rollercoaster. It is a carrousel. The ride goes very slow and has not much thrillfactor.
Appelcarrousel has a black rail with a green caterpillar with some lights on it riding (counterclockwiste) around the apple. It was opened in 2001 when the park opened. The apple is a standard theming model, but for children great enough to have some fun. The caterpillar is long so there can go many children in it.

Did you know:
Appelcarrousel is one of the 2 rides that is fully enclosed by the rollercoaster Boomerang? That makes it hard to make pictures of this ride.
- Popularity Attraction
This ride is not very popular, even not by the children. The big playgrounds near it are more popular. However, for young kids that can't walk already alone or climb this ride is a good way to have fun.
- Waiting Times
There is not a waiting time for this ride, if so it will be only the riding time.
- Theming attraction
The ride is themed with a caterpillar and an apple. But the fences around it are standard, and very high. The operator house is also not themed. One of the more ugly rides of the park. However, the caterpillar and apple does look nice.
- Riding Time
The riding time is not totally known for us, but we think the ride will have a duration of 1 minutes or 2 minutes. or something in between. When we know we will place it here.
- Disordering of attraction
This ride is always open.
