    Troy

Troy is the thirth coaster built in Toverland, and the first wooden one. The rollercoaster is built by GCI and the biggest, fastest and highest wooden coaster of the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) When Toverland built this ride it was actually too big for the size of the park. Since the park was just 2 indoor buildings. Later the park kept expanding and Troy is actually the best ride of the park. Troy is smooth and rough and gives a great ride with adventure for everyone who dare to ride this wooden monster. Troy is a big signature ride with a beautiful layout seen from the parking and the park. It also has some great stats: 32 meter high, 1077 meter long, average speed is 90 kilometres per hour, but on topspeed it can reach 120 kilometres per hour (which is faster than the higher Goliath in Walibi Holland)

Troy has 2 trains with millenium flyer trains, these trains are always 12 x 2 persons, so a total of 24 riders per ride is possible. However the park is never overcrowded, so they will usually use one train at a day. This ride was also the first ride in the Troy Area. Later there were added 2 other rides. The area was together with Troy themed to Troye, you can find some nice theming with rocks and wooden attributes. But also the big horse, and the houses can be found here. The ride is actually not themed, there are no trees around the ride, it is only concrete, but the ride is so fast that you won't even notice the theming. The waiting area is a little themed, also the front of the station.

During the ride you will have some steep drops and hills, some helixes will meet you when thundering trough the wood. Together with some airtime bumps and a fly-trough the station you will end after almost 2 minutes back in the brakes. Can you do that a second time? Or do you need to rest for a while?

     Did you know:
That during the construction of Troy the lifthill has been collapsed? A strong wind blew it back to the ground, nobody was hurt! It was the second accident on the park, but the first one with no injuries. Later no other accidents have been happened.

    - Popularity Attraction
This ride is very popular, But the ride has a very good capaccity. The park is also not very crowded, so you will never wait very long for it. Still almost everyone in the park will ride Troy several times on a day.

    - Waiting Times
The waiting times are always between the 5 and 10 minutes, on crowded days the waiting line can walk up to 15 or 20 minutes or longer, Since the park is growing it will be always a question if the waiting time will be long or short.

    - Theming attraction
The ride is themed to the mythical theme of Troy, The wooden horse, the city, and some rocks are the only theming near the entrance of the ride, during the ride there is no theming, but you will go also very fast that you won't even notice it. The waiting area could be better, and also some trees trough the ride would be pretty good. The station has some little themed attributes, but not very much. However, we think that we have to count the big horse as theming by this ride, so we can give it easily a 7 star rating. Well done for this woody!

    - Riding Time
The riding time is between 1 minute and 50 seconds and 2 minutes. It depends on the time of the day, and the temperature.

    - Disordering of attraction
This ride is almost always open, but in the winter with the frost the ride is closed.
