Wirbelbaum is a Flying wheel ride built by Metallbau Emmeln and has been opened in the 2005 season. The ride is themed to a giantic tree, and the 6 gondolas have a leaf on top. The gondolas are separated in 2 sets of 3, and each one can contain 4 to 6 rides. So the ride can transport 36 guests each ride. The ride doesn't require much space, so this ride was a great addition to the Magic Forest building. The ride is enclosed so also with the rain you can enjoy this ride in the Magic Forest building.



The ride transport you to the height of 13 meter. There the gondolas will spin gentle like it is a ferris wheel while you wait for the other side to step in. Then the ride starts turning around, so the ride will feel like a turning ferris wheel. You can make it also more exiting with spinning your own cars, so you spin in 3 directions (ferris wheel direction, merry-go-round direction, and the teacup ride direction) The ride can be very gentle, but also a little thrill, it's what you make of it! For the 2015 season the ride has been renamed from Twist & Turn into Wirbelbaum, due to the new german themed area.
