The Vermolen molen is one of the oldest carrousels in the world. You can find this one by the other carrousels on the Anton pieck plein. On the parkmap this attraction has together with other carrousels the name ''anton pieck plein'' This carrousel is fun for the little children, but as older people you can also get in. You can use the horses or any other items. But also stand together with your children.

There are different items on this carrousel. You can find wooden cars, chickens, twisting-cars and horses. Choose your favorite one. When you look closely to this carrousel you will find out it is a swinger with a floor. This carrousel has a large history, it was built in 1865. It travelled always on fairs in The Netherlands. In 1985 it went to Canada for an expo, it was situated there for 10 years. In 1995 The Efteling bought the carrousel and send it to the original owner. He restored the carrousel as it was before. The carrousel was used in The Efteling and also on 1 fair in Tilburg for 2 years. Later it moved 2 times from location in the park, and now finally has found his last location where it is already since 2004.

Under the roof are flags with city's in the netherlands. You will see names like ''Amsterdam'' ''Tilburg'' and, ''Loon op zand'' Loon op zand is the commune of Kaatsheuvel, and kaatsheuvel is the place where the Efteling is.

- Popularity Attraction
With so many carrousels in the park it's a weird wonder that this one is very popular. Most of the time there is a waiting line. but you have to wait one ride. That's acceptable! :)

You have to wait around the 2 minutes when you join the line if the carrousel starts.

- Theming attraction
This attraction is themed like an old dutch carrousel. It actually is a old dutch carrousel. Beside that you will find old antique objects on the carrousel, and find place names under the roof.

This attraction is most of the time open. It's only closed for painting jobs and maintenace.
