Thunderloop is at the moment closed due problems with certificated about the safety. Slagharen makes some changes to the ride to quarantee the safety, but this can take a while. It it not possible to ride this ride at this moment, however, it has not jet been removed from the park.

Thunder Loop is the only rollercoaster in Attractiepark Slagharen with an inversion. That inversion is a looping! It has only one looping so it's not a big thrill coaster as we found normally in parks. But Thunder Loop is special. It's a Scharzkopf coaster, and it's a smooth one too. The trains are themed to mine trains.



Thunder Loop is already years the best known coaster of the park. This coaster had many names trough the years. ''Superachtbaan Looping Star'' followed by ''Looping Star'' and now it's just ''Thunder Loop'' At the opening this rollercoaster was blue with red supports. Later it was painted to yellow, And since the 2014 season the ride has been painted dark brown. The trains were also changed, they were bought from an other park. Years it had the name Thunder Loop at the back side, while the coasters name was actually Looping Star. Now it's very clearly. It's just Thunder Loop.

 Did you know:
Thunder loop produces a lot of noise, just like a real thunder? When the train leaves the looping it makes a horrible loud noise.

The attraction is themed to a minetrain, but it doesn't go further than the trains. It has it's basic layout and it's standing on a grass field. Though it's a beautifull coaster to look at.
