    Goliath

Goliath, opened in 2002, built by intamin is the biggest, fastest and highest rollercoaster in the Netherlands. And Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg) This rollercoaster has 2 trains, and an onboard video as souvenir. With it's height of 45 metres, and the speed of 90 kilometres per hour it is the best attraction in Walibi Holland. When you say walibi or six flags to one of the dutch people, they will immediatly answer with GOLIATH! This rollercoaster has some different nicknames, like the green monster, or the polder monster. Because this is the biggest rollercoaster in the Netherlands.

Goliath is well known about the stengeldive, which you can see in the picture above. And the perfect ride on it's layout. Every moment in this rollercoaster is just perfect. It has the speed, thrill and a lot of airtime. The ride is thrilling from the beginning to the end. You have to be 140 centimetres tall to ride Goliath, while in other parks in the Netherlands 120 centimetres should be enough. But Walibi Holland wants it safe for secure, and with this airtime we know why. The trains had the same colors as the track and supports. The track was green, and the supports were purple. The 2 trains had these colors, one green and one purple. since the 2014 season Goliath had a green track with black supports. And since the 2017 season the track is painted blue with black supports

     Did you know:
for the 2017 season, the green track is painted blue. So the name ''green monster'' could be changed into ''blue monster'' Some of the dutch people call it now the ''blue smurf'' referring to the smurfs, a well known belgium character series. However, the size of Goliath doesn't compare with the size of a smurf, so it is more used to make jokes about the abrupt color changing.

    - Popularity Attraction
This attraction is the most popular attraction in Walibi Holland.

    - Waiting Times
There are waiting times between 10 and 15 minutes. Waitinglines longer than 15 minutes does exist, but less than 5 minutes does also exist. This has nothing to do with the popularity of this coaster, but with the popularity of the park. The park is known as a thrill park, and a thrill park does not work in The Netherlands.

    - Theming attraction
The attraction is not themed. The station has a few decorations of some futuric art. But Goliath is just Goliath. It does not need more theming. for the 2014 season, walibi changed the supports colors from purple into black.

    - Riding Time
    The riding time is 1:40

    - Disordering of attraction
    This attraction is always open.
