Xpress: platform 13 is a launched roller coaster near the entrance of the park. You can find the entrance of this coaster in the hall of fame. From season 2002 till 2011 the colors were red and blue. Because this was from 2002 till 2005 the rollercoaster ''Superman the ride'' before the opening it was green with black, refering to Knightler's Revenge. But that hero was not known enough in Europe. Now this rollercoaster is black with silver supports. But most visitors keep calling it Superman. From season 2006 untill 2013 the coaster was called Xpress. Since the 2014 season the ride has a new name, Xpress: platform 13. It also comes with a new theme. It is about a metro station where an accident ever happened. It could be your last ride. Do you dare to get in this ride?



Xpress: Platform 13 has a walktrough in the waiting area, this is part of the ride, and does not count as an waiting line for us. The walktrough and the rollercoaster are the ride. Since the addition of the walktrough the riding time has been changed. The walktrough is a nicely done part, it was inspired by the halloween events, and can be scary for younger children. The story behind it is pretty cool done with the metro. Watch out, maybe you will meet the cursed metro during the ride? This rollercoaster starts with a tunnel and a launch. Then you will go up, in 2 corkscrews. And then you will keep rolling to the end. Meanwhile this part you will meet some curves and a third corkscrew. Then you will end up in the brakes. It is one of the 3 launched rollercoasters in The Netherlands

That Rock 'n Rollercoaster in Disneyland Paris is actually the same rollercoaster? But Xpress is not indoor and has no music theme. The layout is exactly the same. Xpress was built earlier as a test for disneyland. Because it was a totally new system.

- Popularity Attraction
Xpress is a very popular rollercoaster, in the beginning and the end of the day the waiting lines are big for this rollercoaster. In the middle of the day there are shorter waiting lines, that are still 15 minutes.


- Waiting Times
The waiting lines varies from 15 minutes to 50 minutes.

- Theming attraction
The attraction was not themed very clearly. It is not located very beautiful. You see a lot of concrete, and steel of the tunnel. But Walibi Holland tried to make it better. With success, The painting job and the new waiting line in season 2012 made it already better. The walktrough is now part of the ride, which gives a good theming. Also the station, the start and the end of the ride are in theme. The rollercoaster itself is still in a concrete part. 5 stars for the Xpress are now changed into 7. Theme the whole coaster for a better experience, or place some trees near and between it, maybe it will score then higher.


- Riding Time
The riding time is 1:50 for the rollercoaster, but with the walktrough you can have a riding time of 6 minutes.

- Disordering of attraction
This attraction is most of the time open. During the 2011 season it was closed the whole year, because of some broken stators, and the painting job.
