Phantasialand is not the biggest park of europe, or even germany. No but it is one of the better and more famous parks of germany, and europe. Why? Because they can do very much, with a little space. The park is very small in size, but is very big in their amount of rides. The rides are all from high quality, and have little surprises in their ride. The park is built on a hilly terrain, so walking up the stairs, and back down will be needed.
The park was always popular, but not very well known outside their own country, and their neighbours The Netherlands and Belgium. After the big fire in one of their rollercoasters they had to built new rides, these were from better quality, Wuze town, Riverquest opened later and gave the park more international looks. With adding Black Mamba they were known international, especially for building very good rides, on tight places. They used this know-how for their later rides, which seems to work pretty good.
The park is open from april to january, but is not everday open, visit the website for the opening times. The park tickets cost € 45,-. It is pretty expensive, but the park is a lot of fun, and it truly worth it! The park is most of the time even an hour longer open than planned, and it is possible to do almost every ride on a day, so why not?
The park is very small in size, but their amount of rides is huge! Most of the rides are stacked together, are built underground, or elevated over an other ride. the park is split in 2 parts. However, it is slightly noticable. It is not easy to plan your visit trough the park, since you don't know from what side you will enter the park, but make some different plans so you have always an idea of what you want to do first.
For an optimal visit, make use of the waiting-line boards in the park, they can tell you which rides are less popular on that time. Since the walking time is always pretty short you can save time with this system. Rides like Riverquest, Mystery Castle, Black Mamba and the Winja's should be done with a shorter waiting line when using this system. Don't worrie about walking through the park from left to right for 10 times a day, it is possible to do that and visit all the major rides. However, your legs will feel that after the day, because of the hilly terrain.

 Did you know:
That phantasialand uses actually their backup plan? They had plans to expand with new ground near Wuze town. But with problems from the neighbours they were not be able to fix that. Also on the side of Mystery Castle are signs that the park wanted to expand on that side, but without succes. They still have these plans, but untill they can they will close older rides that they don't need, and fill them up with newer rides that are even better! This will cause that the plans for new rides on new available ground will change. It is a fact that if a ride will be removed in the park, you will get 100% guarantee that the new ride is even better!

There is no waiting time by the entrance of the park.
- Theming park
The park is very well themed, the park is seperated in different themed areas like: Berlin, Deep in Africa, Wuze town, Mexico, Mystery and China. It is one of the better themed parks of europe, but they still need to fix some things. And we know that whey will fix that!
- Visit Time
The visit time should be about a day, but when having trouble with the steep hilly terrain it is even possible to have 2 great days in Phantasialand!

The rides will work always.
