Condor was the first SLC coaster built by Vekoma. SLC means Suspended Looping Coaster. It is a catalogue ride, and many parks have them. Condor is actually one of the 2 prototypes, and is slightly different from the other SLC'S. Condor was built in a mexican theme, and the track was White with green supports. Just like the other famous dutch looping coaster Python. Since the 2014 season the Condor has the exotique theme and the track color changed from white to orange. The name also changed, from El Condor into Condor. The minimum length to ride Condor is 140 CM, the maximum length is 200 CM.



A lot of people are saying that this coaster could be very painfull, and it actually is not the most comfortable ride. There are several things that made this coaster uncomfortable. First of all is the fact that El Condor is a prototype. The design problems are resolved in later SLC's. The second fact are the trains. The enorm powers on your body in this coaster will cause sometimes that you hit the restraints, and that could hurt. That's why we give the advise to ride it one time, or maybe two on a day, no more. Or you must know the layout of this coaster, and settle yourself before you get slammed in some inversions. The first inversion is the hardest part.

The rollercoaster on it self has a great thrill niveau, and with the compact layout it gives more power than you would expect.

Nemessis in Alton Towers is also a SLC, but built by B&M instead of Vekoma. El Condor was bought earlier, but it took 2 years to make the design and built it. Nemessis was bought later, but built earlier. So B&M has in fact the first suspended looping coaster on the world, Vekoma was the first one with this idea.

This attraction is popular by visitors, because the most of them will ride El Condor one time a day.


- Waiting Times
The waiting lines are most of the time between 10 and 20 minutes. You can wait shorter with using the single riders line. Frontseat will let you wait longer instead.

The attraction is themed in the station with some wall paintings, and under the track is a big statue. There are also many bushes under El Condor.
